The 2022 Queen Elizabeth II Tribute Gold One-eighth Sovereign – £69

We were all saddened to hear of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on 8th of September 2022. In tribute to the life of service and devotion of Queen Elizabeth II, a new one-eighth sovereign was announced, with both sides designed by Jody Clark, designer of the Fifth (and final) portrait of Her Late Majesty that appears on Britain’s current coinage.

Struck in solid 22-carat gold and with a limitation of 19,999, the portrait depicts Her Late Majesty in the tiara and necklace of her wedding day, and wearing a brooch gifted to her by her late husband HRH Prince Philip. This portrait will only ever be used on this series of tribute sovereigns, making it a must-have commemorative gift.

The 2022 Platinum Jubilee Tower in Bloom Silver Five Pound – £89

This year, the nation celebrated Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee; the first of its kind in British history. For an event of such magnitude, a Silver Proof Five Pound coin was minted. The design features the Tower of London, an historic monument that, for centuries, has been closely associated with the monarchy in Britain. Also in the design is an arrangement of summer flowers, in full colour!

Minted in .925 Silver Proof finish (highest possible quality), this five pound is limited to just 2,022 coins and will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, making this the perfect gift to mark the biggest Jubilee celebration in British monarch history.

Queen Elizabeth II Cypher and Signature Five Pound Crown Set – £99

Two of the most iconic personal symbols of Queen Elizabeth II were her royal cypher and her royal signature. Her cypher ‘EIIR’ appears on letter boxes, government buildings and State documents, and her royal signature ‘Elizabeth R’ was used to bring thousands of Acts of Parliament into law during her seventy-plus year reign, and also on countless letters and notes she sent personally and which were sent on her behalf.

Housed in a presentation case with an informative certificate of authenticity, this beautiful set combines two commemorative edition British five pound coins. With demand for all significant coins of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign so high, this is a good time to secure these coins which bring together two of the most visible reminders of her reign. A great gift to give to the Royalist in your life!

Queen Elizabeth II ‘The Jubilee Equestrian Portrait’ Crown Set – £99

Queen Elizabeth II is the only British monarch ever to have celebrated a Platinum Jubilee. She is also the only monarch for whom Britain has produced commemorative crown coins not only for her coronation, but also for all of her major jubilees. Three of those jubilees have included a heritage-style portrait on horseback – not the usual side profile of her head but an ‘Equestrian Portrait’ depicting her seated on horseback.

This set includes an original example of all three of these crown-sized commemorative coins for Her Late Majesty’s Jubilees: the 1977 Silver Jubilee, the 2002 Golden Jubilee, and the 2022 Platinum Jubilee. What a wonderful historical ‘cycle’, that features a style of portrait which dates back to the very first English silver crown minted in the year 1551 for King Edward VI.

The 2022 Tutankhamun Discovery 100th Anniversary Gold Quarter Sovereign – £129

This year marks the 100th anniversary of one of the richest and most important archaeological discoveries of all time, Tutankhamun’s tomb. To celebrate, these world’s first sovereign coins have been released with a rich black enamel finish simulating the magnificent treasures emerging from the dark. The genius behind this design approach is renowned artist Matt Dent, designer of the current one, two, five, ten, twenty and fifty pence coins in circulation in Britain.

Limited to just 999 coins worldwide, this quarter sovereign features the most famous of all Tutankhamun’s treasures: the magnificent gold death mask of the young Pharaoh. Even today, the name ‘Tutankhamun’ is still associated with the riches of ancient Egypt, and Howard Carter must rank as the most famous archaeologist of all time. Sovereigns were never produced at the time of this discovery, so what an incredible gift for any coin collector to receive.

Queen Elizabeth II 1977 Silver Jubilee Coin and Stamp Set – £149

In 1977 Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her Silver Jubilee; 25th anniversary of reign. This remarkable set gives you the opportunity to own the complete set of British coins of the Silver Jubilee year 1977, including the commemorative crown issued for the event featuring the prestigious Equestrian Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, along with all five commemorative stamps issued for the event.

The coins in this set are called ‘New Pence’ because they feature that as their legend. This is because when Britain changed to decimal coinage in 1971, to differentiate the new coins from the old ones, they were called ‘new Pence’. This ended in 1983 – after that time our decimal pence became known not as ‘New Pence’ but simply as ‘Pence’.
