The 2026 Battle of the Somme Gold Sovereign Range

In 2026, we mark the 110th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme, honouring the courage and sacrifice of those who served during one of the most devastating battles in British military history.

To commemorate this historic anniversary, an exceptional new collection of solid 22 carat gold sovereigns has been created, each incorporating genuine heritage silver recovered from original British coins minted in 1916, the very year of the battle.

These remarkable world-first sovereigns feature powerful battlefield designs alongside representations of historic First World War medals, including the famous ‘Pip, Squeak and Wilfred’ trio and prestigious awards for gallantry.

With strictly limited worldwide mintages, The 2026 Battle of the Somme Gold Sovereign Collection brings together precious metals, remarkable craftsmanship and a tangible connection to history in a lasting tribute to those who served.
