The 2023 Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III Gold Proof Sovereign – £999
On 6th May 2023, King Charles III became the first British monarch to be crowned in the 21st century. Because of the significance, Royal Mint produced an exceptional proof gold sovereign celebrating this historic event, and what better way to commemorate the coronation with this fantastic gift idea.
With a limited production of only 15,000 coins worldwide, this remarkable sovereign features the official crowned portrait of His Majesty King Charles III on the obverse, designed by Martin Jennings, capturing the essence of his coronation ceremony. The reverse side features St George and the dragon by Benedetto Pistrucci, which first appeared on sovereign in 1817.
The Changing of our Monarchs Quarter Two Coin Set – £499
The death of Queen Elizabeth II at Balmoral Castle on 8th September 2022 united the nation in respect for the only monarch the vast majority of us had ever known up until that moment. With the sad passing of one monarch though, a new reign begins, that of her son and heir, King Charles III.

The 2023 King Charles III Accession Fractional Sovereign Set – £899
This year has been a great one for British history: we have a new monarch for the first time in over seventy years, and our first king since the mid-twentieth century. There are generations alive today for whom this will be the first time they have uttered the words “God save the king”. Therefore, for the first time in over 200 years of gold sovereign history, the accession of a monarch has been commemorated by the striking of commemorative gold sovereign coins.

The 2022 Queen Elizabeth II Tribute Gold Sovereign – £999
We were all saddened to hear of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on 8th of September 2022. In tribute to the life of service and devotion of Queen Elizabeth II, a new sovereign series was announced, with both sides designed by Jody Clark, designer of the Fifth (and final) portrait of Her Late Majesty that appears on Britain’s current coinage.
Containing 8g of solid 22-carat gold, this exquisite sovereign features a portrait of Her Late Majesty in the tiara and necklace of her wedding day, and wearing a brooch gifted to her by her late husband HRH Prince Philip. The Queen Elizabeth II 1977 Silver Jubilee Coin and Stamp Set – £149
In 1977 Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her Silver Jubilee; 25th anniversary of reign. This remarkable set gives you the opportunity to own the complete set of British coins of the Silver Jubilee year 1977, including the commemorative crown issued for the event featuring the prestigious Equestrian Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, along with all five commemorative stamps issued for the event.
The coins in this set are called ‘New Pence’ because they feature that as their legend. This is because when Britain changed to decimal coinage in 1971, to differentiate the new coins from the old ones, they were called ‘new Pence’. This ended in 1983 – after that time our decimal pence became known not as ‘New Pence’ but simply as ‘Pence’.
The 2017 Double Portrait Platinum Wedding Anniversary Gold Sovereign – £999
2017 marked the Platinum wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip; an incredible 70-years of marriage. This is the first time in British history a monarch has celebrated this milestone and it is something which we will probably never see again. To celebrate this first ever anniversary, a world first sovereign was issued.
In an unprecedented move, Prince Philip’s contribution is acknowledged as he takes his place alongside Her Late Majesty on this royal gold coin. The 2023 Lord Nelson Tribute Gold One Eighth Sovereign – £149
One of the greatest victories of Lord Nelson’s career was his defeat of Napoleon’s navy at the Battle of the Nile. Although there was recognition of this victory at the time, no commemorative coins were produced. Now, in this 225th anniversary year, this historical oversight is being corrected with the release of a limited edition gold one-eighth sovereign coin to celebrate Britain’s greatest naval commander, Lord Nelson.
This fantastic one-eighth sovereign features a design which shows the fore topgallant masthead of HMS Victory, flying the ‘Ensign of the White’ which was Nelson’s command flag at the Battle of Trafalgar.
