The coin features a portrait of King Charles III and Queen Camilla by artist Jody Clark, designer of the fifth (and final) coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The double sovereign is 32mm in diameter and weighs 16 grams. Its original mintage limitation was just 240 and it is sold out.

It was also struck on the 6th May 2023, the day of the coronation. The £100 sovereign is 65mm in diameter and weighs 10oz. Its original mintage limitation was just 9 and it is sold out.
