This 22 carat gold Sovereign was struck in the year of the Diamond Jubilee and is dated 2012. The reverse features a rare departure from Pistrucci’s classic, with a modern St George and the dragon design by Paul Day, while the obverse bears the fourth definitive coinage portrait of The Queen by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS.
