1. This competition opens on 29th November 2019 and closes on 11:59pm GMT on 31st December 2019. Entries received after this date will not be accepted.
  2. The competition is open to UK residents only and entrants must be aged 18 or over.
  3. To enter, entrants must purchase the ‘Product of the Month’ for December. This product is the King George V Gold Sovereign of the London Mint of 1925 (RRP £799). Each purchase of this coin is equivalent to one (1) entry.
  4. There is one (1) prize to be won. The winner will receive the King George IV 1825-1830 Gold Sovereign, worth £1,699. The prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of the same or higher value if necessary to do so.
  5. The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries received. The judge’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  6. The winner must be able to provide proof of purchase in order to receive their prize, in the form of an order confirmation from Hattons of London and the associated email address.
  7. The winner will be contacted via phone or email, depending on the opt-in communication methods they provided at the time of creating an account with Hattons. The winner will be contacted by no later than 7th January 2020.
  8. To claim the prize, the winner will need to reply to the email with their contact details or provide these over the phone. They will also need to provide proof of purchase. If the winner does not claim the prize within 7 days, or does not provide proof of purchase, a new winner will be chosen at random. The winner will be announced publicly on the Hattons of London website after claiming their prize.
  9. By entering the promotion, each entrant agrees and consents to the processing of their personal data by Hattons of London (or a third party acting on Hattons of London’s behalf) for the purposes of the administration and operation of the promotion.
  10. Hattons of London reserves the right to feature names and locations of winners in future posts.
  11. Those involved in the promotion and execution of the competition, employees of the company and their relatives are not eligible for entry.
  12. Only one entry per person allowed. Third party or multiple entries will not be allowed and will be discarded. Hattons of London reserves the right to disqualify multiple entries made by the same person or any entries it suspects have been made fraudulently or through the use of bots or other computer software. No responsibility is accepted for entries that are lost or deleted in transmission.
